Most of you will say “who is she?” I was a chubby little girl that got to “hang” with you guys especialy when you had the picnics. My parents helped Martin and Grace with several occasions. We were Americans and my dad was in the US Air Force at Welford, Berkshire. Someone gave me a “Jesus Lives” pin, I wish I could remember who you are but…..I still have it. You all helped shape my life (“OK,” you’ll think. By the way, I live in Texas). How cool it was to be 10 yrs old and hang with teenangers and young adults. ———–Gayle

Thank you Gayle for your post. Your family was very kind to Grace and myself during the days that we went to Welford to do auxiliary chaplaincy work and it has been a delight for us to have remained in touch with you all through the years. You also blessed the Grange in number of ways. We look forward to the visit of your mom and dad to us this coming Tuesday, 4 August 2009.
Good to hear from you Gayle, I hope we track down the person who gave you the pin!
